Bottle Designs for Moon Pie® Whiskey

The marketing team at Moon Pie is extremely adept at cultivating co-branding opportunities, and their newest endeavor is to create a subtle flavored whiskey. In contrast to the bold and sweet Moon Pie flavored moonshine that was created in the past, the whiskey is intended to appeal to seasoned drinkers with a more muted flavor profile. 

For this product, Moon Pie is partnering with the experienced Beam Brothers distillery to create a tasteful blend. Widgets & Stone helped to create a label design that takes its cues from traditional whiskey packaging and ties in the heritage of the 100 year old Moon Pie brand.

MoonPie® Tin Designs

MoonPies® have been a Chattanooga Bakery signature product for almost 100 years. When John Campbell and Tory Johnston thought of designing a custom MoonPie® tin that captured the history and nostalgia of the product, they knew that Widgets & Stone would be perfect for the project.

While the final tin design is still in process, the concepts that the team has developed along the way show the playful side of the MoonPie® brand and enduring quality of design styles from a different era.
