2018 New Collections Book

2018 was EF Contract’s first year as a company and the brand debuted at Neocon, the world’s leading event for the commercial design industry. Along with designing EF Contract’s showroom, Widgets & Stone created a simple overview booklet of their new products.

Like the showroom, the booklet’s theme was inspired by small, everyday moments of delight and discovery. Of Surprising Beauty. Design Director Liz Tapp created a wonderfully pragmatic brochure with elegant touches of rich black paper, metallic silver ink and subtle deboss.

Can a Finish be the Start of Something New?

J+J 2017 NeoCon Booklet

Every year J+J Flooring Group takes its product designers on a trip to a different location to find inspiration for new products. For the 2017 product launch, the team traveled to Pewabic pottery studio in Detroit. There the team saw how pottery is shaped, thrown and fired, the same as it has been for over a century. They discovered that it is the glazing finish that defined the pottery — and in turn, what defined their product inspiration for 2017.

Widgets & Stone led the creative effort to craft the promotional book for Neocon that would reveal the catalyst for the new flooring products: through design, writing and photography. Design Director Mandy Lamb and Designer Liz Tapp created a print booklet that utilized the textures, flows and imperfections of glazing.

The Century Mark

100th Anniversary Book

To celebrate 100 years in business, Mannington Commercial created an oversize booklet that reviewed its history, its values, its clients and projects. Design Director Mandy Lamb worked closely with designer Stephanie Fast to produce a print piece that could be produced affordably yet had a design presence.

The foil stamped cover paper and unique side stitch gave the magazine-like booklet a unique flair and collectible quality.
